Saginaw's local dumpster company

Roll-off dumpster rental across Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay region

Quick Drop Saginaw Dumpsters runs out of a yard at 1201 S Wheeler St, Saginaw, MI 48602 — inside the City of Saginaw, Saginaw County, on a City street on the west side of the river, near M-46 (Gratiot Avenue). The idea is simple: make dumpster rental in Saginaw simple, affordable and dependable. So we keep it plain. Clean, well-maintained roll-offs. One clear flat-rate price before delivery. A delivery window we tell you up front. A local person on the line, not a call center.

Saginaw had 44,202 people at the 2020 Census and Saginaw County 190,124. Homeowners call about garage and estate cleanouts, remodels and storm-damaged roofs; landlords and property managers turn over rentals; contractors work from Old Town and downtown out to Frankenmuth, Freeland, Bay City and Midland. Knowing which of those a call is before the truck leaves the yard is most of the job — along with knowing that a Saginaw street placement needs a written permit from the City Engineer first, that City trash pickup will not take building and demolition debris, that M-46 and M-13 are state trunklines with no container permit, that Bay City requires a yearly franchise from anyone hauling construction debris for clients in the city, that Frankenmuth, Reese and Vassar keep collection for their own systems, and that Michigan keeps used oil, car batteries, hazardous waste, liquids and all but small amounts of tires and yard waste out of its landfills.

Whatever you are clearing — a garage or a whole house, a job site, a yard full of storm limbs or a rental you want emptied by a crew — the container exists for it. Call (989) 930-1786 and describe it in a sentence.

  • Same-day or next-day delivery when available — call before noon

  • Careful, driveway-friendly placement on a flat, solid surface, with protection boards on request

Why Saginaw chooses us

Why people call us back

  • You reach a local team, not a call center

The phone is answered by a local dispatcher who knows Saginaw and the towns around it — a narrow lot near Old Town, a job site off Bay Road, a driveway out in Freeland or Frankenmuth.

  • Flat-rate pricing, said out loud

Delivery, pickup, the rental period and disposal within the weight limit, explained up front in one clear price. No hidden fees and no fine print. If your load looks like it will go over, we say so before the truck leaves the yard.

  • Same-day when available

Call before noon and we can often have a dumpster on site that afternoon. If it has to be tomorrow, we tell you before you book.

  • Driveway-friendly placement

Careful placement on a flat, solid surface, clear of sidewalks and drainage areas, with protection boards available on request. If a tight drive, low wires or soft ground needs a different plan, the driver tells you before delivery.

  • The right box, not the biggest

Weight fills a container long before volume does. If a 10 yard is the honest answer for your broken-up concrete, that is what we will quote you.

  • Ready for storm cleanup

High winds or heavy rain can drop limbs and damage roofs in an afternoon. We offer limited emergency and after-hours service for storm cleanup, and we tell you honestly when the container can be there.

Simple from start to finish

Five steps, one phone call

Most bookings take a few minutes.

  1. Step 1: Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask the address, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — what you are tossing, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.

  2. Step 2: We size it and quote it flat

We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for more than you need or run out of space, and you get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, the rental period and disposal within the weight limit. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.

  3. Step 3: Delivered where you want it

The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, solid surface rather than the lawn, with protection boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when available. You do not need to be home if the area is clear.

  4. Step 4: Load it at your pace

Keep it level with or below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and other liquids, oil and fuel, chemicals, car batteries, tires, propane tanks and fuel containers, medical waste and asbestos. Electronics go to recycling instead. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.

  5. Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal

Call or text when it is full — in most cases we can collect your bin within 24 hours. The load is covered or tied down for the road and goes to a licensed Mid Michigan disposal or recycling facility, with concrete, wood and metal recycled whenever possible.

Local knowledge

Seventeen towns, four counties, and we know the driveways

There is a difference between covering an area and knowing it. We know which drives the truck fits down, that Saginaw needs a written City Engineer permit before anything sits in a street, alley or right-of-way, with the fee doubled if work starts without one (City Code § 96.004), that Saginaw bans street parking from 3 to 6 a.m. (§ 72.15), that M-46, M-13, M-47, M-52, M-57, M-81, M-15, I-75 and I-675 are state trunklines where we found no MDOT container permit, that Bay City wants a yearly franchise from anyone hauling construction debris for clients in the city (§ 86-29), that Essexville keeps its outlawn and driveway aprons clear (§ 4.404), and that Frankenmuth, Reese, Vassar, Zilwaukee and Carrollton Township keep refuse collection for their own systems — so we check the rules before booking there.

Our service area page lists every town we cover, grouped by area, and each has its own page covering access, local character and what that town's own rules say about containers in the street and who may haul.

Credentials

What you are actually hiring

Plain, checkable facts about who you would be working with — no invented star ratings or reviews.

  • Licensed & insured, with professional drivers

Professional drivers who know the area, deliver safely and place each container with care. Ask when you book if your property manager, general contractor or HOA needs proof of insurance.

  • Based in Saginaw, near M-46

The yard is at 1201 S Wheeler St, Saginaw, MI 48602 — inside the City of Saginaw, Saginaw County, on the west side of the river. The number on this page reaches a local team, not an answering service in another state.

  • Seventeen towns, four counties

Saginaw and the communities next door — Zilwaukee, Carrollton, Bridgeport and Freeland; Hemlock, Merrill, St. Charles, Chesaning, Frankenmuth and Birch Run around Saginaw County; Reese and Vassar over the Tuscola County line; and Bay City, Essexville, Auburn and Midland. We tell you honestly about timing and any local rule before you book.

  • Sorted the way Michigan requires

Michigan keeps used oil, car batteries, regulated hazardous waste, liquids, PCBs and all but small amounts of whole tires, returnable bottles and yard waste out of its landfills. We keep those out of the box, take every load to a licensed Mid Michigan facility, recycle concrete, wood and metal whenever possible, and say so.

Dumpster rental in Saginaw — your questions

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Saginaw, MI?

It depends on the dumpster size, the rental length, the type of debris, its weight and disposal requirements, and the delivery location, so we quote each job rather than publish prices. You get one clear, flat-rate price before delivery whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, the rental period and disposal within the weight limit — typically two to three tons on a 10 or 15 yard, up to five to six on a 40. Additional charges may apply for excess weight, restricted materials or extra rental time, and we explain them before you book. Call (989) 930-1786 for a quote for your address.

How quickly can you deliver a dumpster in Saginaw?

Same-day or next-day across Saginaw whenever possible. Call before noon and we can often have a dumpster on site that afternoon. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but we do not promise night or Sunday drop-offs.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Saginaw?

On your own driveway or lot, we found no City dumpster permit — keep it off the sidewalk and the street. In a street, alley or sidewalk, yes: using or obstructing the City right-of-way, including storing materials there, takes a written permit from the City Engineer, the obstruction has to be barricaded as the City Engineer directs under the state traffic-control manual, and the fee doubles if work starts without a permit (City Code § 96.004). No City page names a dumpster permit as such, so call the Engineering Division at 989-759-1410, or ask us, to confirm which permit applies. Check your HOA too.

What can't go in a dumpster in Michigan?

Michigan bans used oil, lead-acid batteries, low-level radioactive waste, regulated hazardous waste, liquid waste and waste with free liquids, sewage and PCBs from its landfills, bars medical waste unless it is decontaminated or properly packaged, and allows no more than small amounts of whole tires, returnable beverage containers and yard waste (MCL 324.11514). Asbestos waste goes only to landfills that meet the federal standard for it, so it never goes in our containers. We also keep out paint, solvents, propane tanks and fuel containers. Electronics are not banned from Michigan landfills, but we ask you to recycle them. If you are unsure about an item, call before loading it.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

We take care with every placement, and driveway protection boards are available on request — ask before delivery, especially on newer concrete or pavers.

Which dumpster size do I need?

Volume and weight are two separate limits, and the material decides which runs out first. Small cleanouts and bathroom remodels are a 10; kitchen remodels a 10 or 15; a roof of around 2,000 square feet a 15; whole-home cleanouts a 20; new construction, demolition and large cleanouts a 30 or 40. Count the job in pickup truck loads — about 3 for a 10 yard, up to about 12 for a 40. The size guide covers it; the phone call confirms it.

Do you deliver outside Saginaw?

Yes — Zilwaukee, Carrollton, Bridgeport and Freeland; Hemlock, Merrill, St. Charles, Chesaning, Frankenmuth, Birch Run, Reese and Vassar; and Bay City, Essexville, Auburn and Midland. Each town has its own page with its own street and hauling rules.

When is the best time to book?

Early. Same-day depends on availability, and a call before noon gives you the best chance. For a planned remodel or cleanout, a few days' notice gets you the size you want on the day you want it, and booking mid-week or ahead of the busy spring and summer season gives you more flexibility. If the container has to go in a Saginaw street, the City Engineer's permit comes first; if a regulated demolition is involved, EGLE wants notice at least ten working days ahead.
