Keeping the Saginaw area clean
We believe responsible waste disposal keeps our region beautiful. Our team recycles and diverts debris whenever possible, and we help local homeowners, contractors and organizers clear out clutter quickly and responsibly. When a neighborhood group, a church or a civic group runs a cleanup day, a property improvement or a community project, the hard part is always the pile at the end — and a roll-off is often exactly what it needs. Tell us what you are clearing and we help you pick the size.
One honest tip: some of it already has a home. City of Saginaw residents can use the City Convenience Station on the second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to noon, and the City Compost Site at 2410 Veterans Memorial Pkwy takes yard waste and brush from April 1 to November 30. Saginaw County residents can take household hazardous waste to the Mid Michigan Waste Authority's free collection days, April to September by appointment, agricultural pesticides and mercury to the County's Clean Sweep by appointment, and up to 10 car tires a year to the County Mosquito Abatement Commission from May to August. Midland County residents have their own free household hazardous waste days at the City of Midland Landfill, by appointment. Check those first. If your project is bigger than that, call us.
Supporting local events and cleanups
From neighborhood cleanups to community events, we are glad to lend a hand and a dumpster where we can. If your Saginaw-area group has a project or an event — in Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Frankenmuth or anywhere nearby — call (989) 930-1786 or email info@quickdropsaginawdumpsters.com and tell us what you are doing. Where a town wants a permit for a container in a street — in Saginaw, the City Engineer's written permit; in Bay City, the Engineering Division's Encroachment Permit — or keeps refuse collection for its own system, we tell you what applies before the day.
Choosing a local company supports local jobs and a business that reinvests in the Saginaw area.
Responsible disposal
Keeping the area clean also means sending what we haul to the right place. Every load goes to a licensed Mid Michigan recycling or disposal facility, and we sort and recycle concrete, asphalt, metal, clean wood, cardboard and yard waste whenever possible. Michigan keeps used oil, lead-acid batteries, regulated hazardous waste, liquids, PCBs and all but small amounts of whole tires, returnable beverage containers and yard waste out of its landfills (MCL 324.11514), so those stay out of the box, and household chemicals, paint and fuel go to a proper outlet, never the container.
