Roll-off dumpster rental in Reese
Approx. 17 road miles from the yard, around 26 minutes.
Reese is approx. 17 road miles east-northeast of the yard, around 26 minutes — same-day or next-day options when available, once the Village's rules for the job are checked. The Village of Reese had 1,261 people at the 2020 Census and sits mostly in Tuscola County, with a small part in Saginaw County.
Village code says all solid waste accumulated in the village is collected, conveyed and disposed of by the contract hauler under contract to the Village, with exceptions only for owners hauling their own and mobile home parks (§ 26-22). Construction debris isn't carved out, so a roll-off job here starts with the Village's rules.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Reese
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- Contract hauler only — “No person or non-contracted hauler shall collect, convey over any of the streets or alleys of the village, or dispose of any solid waste accumulated in the village” (§ 26-22).
- Two counties — mostly Tuscola County (Denmark Township), with a small part in Saginaw County (Blumfield Township).
- Building materials — kept outside only while in use under a valid building permit (§ 10-23).
- Work hours — building, demolition and exterior repair work only 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., except by emergency permit (§ 10-58).
- No overnight parking — no vehicle on any public street from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. (§ 32-44).
- Village Hall — 2073 Gates St, 989-868-4503.
What comes out of Reese properties
Garage clutter in 10s, roofing tear-offs and flooring in 15s, remodels and whole-home clean-outs in 20s, barn and estate clean-outs in 30s, and demolition in 40s. Village code ties outdoor storage of building materials to a valid building permit (§ 10-23), so keep tear-out debris in the container, not in a pile.
Michigan law keeps these out of landfills (MCL 324.11514): used oil, lead-acid batteries, regulated hazardous waste, low-level radioactive waste, liquid waste and loads with free liquids, sewage, PCBs and medical waste; asbestos only goes to a landfill set up for it; and no more than a small amount of whole tires, used beverage containers or yard waste — leaves, grass, brush and trimmings under 4 feet long and 2 inches across (MCL 324.11506). Keep yard waste separate from construction debris and household trash and tell us when a load is yard waste. Fridges, freezers and air conditioners need the refrigerant removed by a certified technician first, EGLE says, so ask before loading one. No paint, solvents, automotive fluids, propane tanks, fuel containers, batteries, medical waste, asbestos or hazardous chemicals in our containers. Household chemicals aren't banned from landfills, but EGLE says they are not well suited for disposal there. Michigan has haulers remind customers every year what's banned (MCL 324.11527a) — our what can and can't go in a dumpster guide covers it. Tuscola County Recycling, 987 Ellington St in Caro, takes recyclables, scrap metal, car and home batteries, used motor oil and antifreeze, and tires for a fee — no trash or construction debris.

Sizes
Choosing a container size in Reese
Weight is what usually decides the size, not how much room the pile takes up.
| Size | Dimensions | Capacity | Weight included | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 Yard Dumpster | about 12 ft long × 8 ft wide × 3.5–4 ft high | about 3 pickup truck loads | 2–3 tons | Bathroom and small kitchen remodels, flooring and tile removal, roofing repairs, garage and attic cleanouts, yard debris and small amounts of concrete or asphalt. |
| 15 Yard Dumpster | about 14 ft long × 8 ft wide × 4.5–5 ft high | about 4–5 pickup truck loads | 2–3 tons | Kitchen and bathroom renovations, roofing tear-offs, flooring, carpet and drywall removal, garage and attic cleanouts, deck or fence removal and yard cleanups. |
| 20 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 8 ft wide × 4.5 ft high | about 6 pickup truck loads | 3–4 tons | Whole-home cleanouts, full kitchen or bathroom remodels, roofing, flooring, drywall or siding replacement, estate cleanups, light demolition and deck or fence tear-downs. |
| 30 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 8 ft wide × 6 ft high | about 9 pickup truck loads | 4–5 tons | Full home or office renovations, new home builds and demolition, commercial remodeling, large roofing jobs, major cleanouts and estate projects, and apartment renovations. |
| 40 Yard Dumpster | about 22 ft long × 8 ft wide × 8 ft high | about 12 pickup truck loads | 5–6 tons | Commercial and industrial construction, full-building renovations or demolitions, large office or retail cleanouts, major remodels and estate cleanups, apartment renovations and storm recovery. |
Permits, placement and who may haul in Reese
Who may haul — read this first: “With the exception of mobile home parks, all solid waste accumulated in the village shall be collected, conveyed and disposed of by the contract hauler under contract to the village. No person or non-contracted hauler shall collect, convey over any of the streets or alleys of the village, or dispose of any solid waste accumulated in the village” (§ 26-22). The exceptions are owners collecting and disposing of their own, mobile home parks and outside collectors passing through, and terms take their meaning from Michigan's Part 115, whose solid waste includes demolished building materials (§ 26-21). We check the Village's rules before booking a container in Reese. We're licensed and insured.
Placement: the Village's streets chapter covers sidewalks only, and we found no street-obstruction or dumpster permit, so the container goes on private property. You do not need to be home as long as the spot is clear, our drivers use boards and careful placement to protect concrete and asphalt, and please don't move the container once it's down — call us and we'll move it.
Parking and hours: no vehicle may park on any public street in the village from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. (§ 32-44) — year-round as written. Building and demolition work runs 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (§ 10-58). Driveway first.
State highways: M-81 runs through Reese. MDOT manages the state highway right-of-way, and we found no MDOT permit for setting a private container on it — so beside a state highway the container goes on private property, never in the right-of-way. We check the exact address.
Covered loads: Michigan bars driving a vehicle unless it is loaded so nothing can drop, sift, leak, blow off or escape, and open loads must be covered or secured (MCL 257.720). Keep debris level with or below the top rim — that's what makes the load safe to transport.
Remodel or tear-down: before a regulated demolition or renovation, EGLE wants notice through its MiEnviro Portal at least 10 working days ahead. Privately owned homes of four or fewer units aren't covered by the federal asbestos rule (NESHAP) unless they come down for urban renewal or as part of a public or commercial project; apartment buildings of five or more units are. Removing more than 10 linear feet or 15 square feet of friable asbestos also needs MIOSHA notice 10 days ahead, so asbestos rules may still apply to a house. Asbestos never goes in our containers; tell us if you find any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Reese
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address, what you are clearing — a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard, a job site — what you are tossing, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
We recommend the right size, so you do not pay for more than you need or run out of space, and you get a flat-rate quote whenever possible that covers delivery, pickup, the rental period and disposal within the weight limit. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on a flat, solid surface rather than the lawn, with protection boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when available. You do not need to be home if the area is clear.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep it level with or below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and other liquids, oil and fuel, chemicals, car batteries, tires, propane tanks and fuel containers, medical waste and asbestos. Electronics go to recycling instead. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal
Call or text when it is full — in most cases we can collect your bin within 24 hours. The load is covered or tied down for the road and goes to a licensed Mid Michigan disposal or recycling facility, with concrete, wood and metal recycled whenever possible.
